As a Professor of Computer Science for the Community College System, I teach beginning, intermediate, and advanced computer topics including basic computer terminology, managing files, folders, and using applications, both for desktop/laptop computers and Mobile devices.

I provide both group, and one-on-one instruction, at your home, business, or wherever works for you.

Below is a list of basic classes I offer for basic computer techniques: understanding the Internet and your browser, using email, managing and editing photos – and sharing them. Any topic you need help with. Each class listing is a link: click on it and you can view and/or download the document.

PIXLR

Pixlr is a cloud-based set of image tools and utilities, including a number of photo editors, a screen grabber browser extension, and a photo sharing service. The suite was intended for non-professionals, however the apps range from simple to advanced photo editing.

It can be used on Macs, PCs, and smartphones or tablets using a mobile app. Time Magazine put Pixlr on its list of the top 50 websites of 2013. It is quite powerful and useful. Think of it as a free version of PhotoShop, in your Web Browser! (For Mobile, you'll need to install an App).
